Objective
This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to securely access and log into the ROE Permit System dashboard.
Important Notice: Before attempting to log in for the first time, a District, ROE, or Firm Administrator must first create and provision your account in the system. If an administrator has not yet set up your profile, you will not be able to access the portal.
Prerequisites
Ensure you have the following before beginning:
An active account pre-created by your District/ROE/Firm Administrator.
An active email address. The system utilizes Single Sign-On (SSO) through Google and Microsoft.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Navigate to the Permit Portal
Open your preferred web browser and navigate to the official login page:
URL: permits.kaneroe.org
Step 2: Choose Your Sign-In Method
On the main login page, you will see options to log in using external identity providers.
Select Sign in with Google if your email is hosted by Google (Gmail/Workspace).
Select Sign in with Microsoft if your email is hosted by Microsoft (Outlook/Office 365).
Don't have a Google or Microsoft account?
You can easily link your current, non-Google/Microsoft email address to a free account with either provider. Simply visit Google or Microsoft's signup page, choose "Use my current email address instead," and complete the setup before attempting to log into the permit system.
Step 3: Enter Your Credentials
Once you click your preferred provider (for example, the Google option):
You will be automatically redirected to the standard login page for that provider.
Select or type in the email address that your administrator used to set up your permit account.
Enter your password (this is the exact same password you use to log into your regular email account).
Step 4: Access the Dashboard
Upon successful authentication, the system will automatically redirect you back to the permit portal. You will land directly on your personal Dashboard, where you can begin managing your permits.
Need Help?
If you receive an authorization error or the system does not recognize your email, please contact your District/ROE/Firm Administrator to verify that your account has been fully provisioned in the system. For other technical issues, please submit a support ticket.
